Symposium

Hodie et Cras runs programming that connects high school students to deeper, more meaningful experiences in the study of Classics. Our projects are built to challenge, to invite collaboration, and to shift how the ancient world is taught—inside and outside the classroom.

In-person events hosted at leading universities

Our flagship event took place at Yale University in March 2025. High school students spent a day in college classrooms, reading real texts, asking hard questions, and connecting with professors and undergraduates. The day included:

  • Workshops led by Yale faculty

  • Object analysis sessions in the Yale Art Gallery

  • Student panels on the future of Classics

  • Text-based discussions and group readings

These events give students an unfiltered look at what it’s like to study Classics in college—and create space to rethink what studying the ancient world can look like now.

More university-based events are in development.
