Hodie et Cras Symposium

Join us at Yale University on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for a full-day symposium that explores how the ancient world resonates with the present day. The Hodie et Cras Symposium connects high school students directly with Yale Classicists through lectures, workshops, and discussions to make Classics accessible, relevant, and alive.

This event is free and open to all high school students, regardless of prior experience.

What to Expect

  • Interactive workshops led by Yale faculty

  • Conversations with undergraduates and graduate students about studying Classics in college

  • Hands-on engagement with ancient art, texts, and ideas

  • Community of peers passionate about the humanities

Who should attend?

Students interested in literature, history, art, philosophy, or language — anyone curious about how the ancient world still shapes our present. You don’t need to be a Latin or Greek student to join.
